Responsibilities

• Manage double-entry bookkeeping, including supplier invoices and asset management (acquisition, depreciation, disposal)
• Handle VAT compliance and assist with VAT refund requests within the EU
• Process and track supplier invoices, ensuring accurate cost allocation
• Collaborate with the Chief Accountant and Financial Controller on financial tasks and reporting
• Support the transition of accounting records to electronic systems and improve internal processes

Candidate requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with at least 1 year of relevant experience
• Familiarity with double-entry bookkeeping under Slovak legislation (Czech knowledge is a plus)
• Proficiency in accounting software (Pohoda is a bonus) and strong knowledge of VAT regulations
• Detail-oriented, independent, and a great team player with strong problem-solving skills
• Good command of English and experience with digital transformation of accounting records

Required education

• University education (Bachelor's degree)
