Job Description

Innovatrics is an independent provider of trusted biometric solutions operating in the B2B and government segments.

The Chief Sales Officer (CSO) is a key senior executive role responsible for the planning and execution of the sales strategies, initiatives, and objectives of the company. The CSO will work closely with CEO and Business Unit Directors (Product teams ABIS, Digital Onboarding Toolkit and SmartFace) to develop and implement short- and long-term sales plans that support the company’s overall business objectives.

The CSO will be responsible for hiring, managing and developing the multinational sales team on different continents. The global sales team consists of 3 PODs, each having a dedicated Business Development Managers and Business Consultants (technical presales), operating in Americas, EMEA and APAC regions (currently 13 people in total). The ideal candidate will have experience in sales management, and a proven track record of achieving sales goals with his/ her team.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing short- and long-term sales strategies to achieve defined revenue goals.
  • Hiring, training, coaching, and developing sales team members to maximise their individual and collective potential.
  • Regular performance evaluation of the sales team and defining subsequent adjustments and measures if needed, in order to ensure the attainment of departmental and company objectives.
  • Responsibility for compensation schemes of the team members.
  • Helping sales reps achieve their quotas through clearly defined processes, account acquisition and management strategy, reflecting the specifics of each region.
  • Evaluation, adjustment and regular reporting of relevant sales activities and performance KPIs using the existing CRM solution.
  • Ownership, development and execution of sales initiatives aimed at expanding the customer base and enhancing market share.
  • Assuming responsibility for the Channel Partners program
  • Acting as the main point of contact between the sales team and other departments in the organisation, including marketing, product development, and customer service.
  • Definition, evaluation and adjustment of budgets for all sales endeavours, while ensuring compliance with the company's financial responsibility policies
  • Conducting regular sales performance presentations to executive management and CEO.
  • Attendance of relevant trade shows, conferences, and other events.

Candidate requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 10+ years in sales management/ leadership roles, driving and implementing revenue growth
  • Proven track record of achieving quotas through effective management and coaching
  • Inspirational leadership style and hands-on approach
  • Experience developing and executing business strategy
  • Significant general management and P&L experience
  • Strong experience with CRM systems

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong technical experience, passion for technology (direct experience from technology company is a big advantage)
  • Extensive working experience abroad and in a multinational environment
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • We are seeking candidates with a strong background in working with system integrators as customers, catering to both enterprise and government end-customers.
