We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead to join our DOT business unit and help us build Innovatrics’ fastest growing product. This is a key leadership role within one of 4 Innovatrics’ business units. The successful candidate will be the technology go-to expert and play an integral role in setting DOT product direction, development and future growth. About the product

Digital Onboarding Toolkit (DOT) is a full technology stack for developing remote identity verification applications. Consisting of mobile and server components, DOT can authenticate and extract data from identity documents and verify identity of an individual using industry leading facial biometrics and liveness check. DOT helps organizations and their customers create instant trust with each other.

Responsibilities

Manage all developers within DOT product business unit (comprising of BE, FE, Mobile development teams and DevOps)
Recruit, hire, and onboard top talent in DOT department ensuring a high-performing team.
Establish clear goals and expectations for each team member.
Conduct regular performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and development plans.
Make informed decisions regarding personnel matters, including hiring, promotion, and potential termination (following company policies).
Track performance of the development teams, help them to resolve cross team issues and blockers
Oversee and improve processes used for product development (we use Kanban methodology)
Ensure that technology standards and best practices are maintained across the development teams
Closely cooperate with product management and DOT business unit director to co-define a technical vision and strategy of the product
Bring, test and validate innovative ideas to the product
Discover new technologies that yield competitive advantage
Understand the main business use cases in order to oversee the design of the architecture for the key product features to be built
Be a vocal part of the product prioritization process in order to make sure, we are working on the right things

Candidate requirements

Hard Skills

Completed degree or comparable education with a focus on computer sciences or engineering plus minimum 8+ years relevant work experience
Proven experience as a Head of Engineering / Solution Architect or similar technical leadership role in a dynamic, fast changing environment
Hands-on experience of coding using more than one recognised industry standard language
Strong understanding of the Agile software development methodologies and lifecycle (preferably Kanban)
Deep understanding of modern deployment and development infrastructure: CI/CD, unit and end-to-end testing, and cloud/enterprise deployment
Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy
Ability to conduct technological analyses and research
Track record of delivering high performance IT products and platforms
