Junior FullStack Developer (ABIS Product)
Job Description
Our department is looking for a SW front-end/full stack developer (React and/or Ruby on Rails) to join our product development team. The team is working on our world-class biometric product which works with facial, fingerprint, iris, and palm biometry.
Developers are highly involved in the decision-making process. The role includes executing development tasks, contributing to architecture plans, and responding quickly to client needs. A successful candidate should have adequate technical skills and the ability to interact with many different departments across the product team. In return, we provide a very friendly team and environment.
Responsibilities
- Technical design and development of user interfaces of our biometric SW products
- Focus on implementation of front-end and back-end layer of web applications
- New features development mainly with React and Kotlin in our products based on well-defined priorities
- Managing and maintaining an active code base
- Creation and maintenance of reusable UI components, templates, and libraries (Design System)
- Active learning in terms of technologies
Candidate requirements
- Experience with front-end and back-end development of modern applications in an agile environment
- Good knowledge of Kotlin and/or Ruby programming language and Ruby on Rails framework
- Experience with SQL, knowledge of any database engine (PostgreSQL/MS SQL/Oracle) and ORM concepts, familiarity with GraphQL is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS
- Tools like: Webpack/Vite, Yarn/pnpm, Storybook
- Experience with Git and CI/CD, authentication concepts, and web-development security concepts
- An advantage is a knowledge of: usage of Linux-based OS, Swagger, Jira, Kanban
- Experience with testing (Jest) and debugging of front-end applications running in a web browser and front-end server
- Basic knowledge of Cypress is an advantage
- A sense of detail and a responsible approach to work
- Friendly attitude and willingness to share knowledge and help others

- University education (Bachelor's degree)
