Biometric system support specialist based in Riyadh

Job Description

We are looking for a responsible person with an experience in the area of system administration who would be in charge of  technical support of our core biometric software product running on customer's production environments.

Responsibilities

• remote support of key customers in the region 
• analysis and specification of customer’s needs  
• implementation of changes/patches in customer environments 
• minimize unplanned downtimes in customer environments 
• close internal cooperation with delivery, consulting, and SW engineering teams to achieve high quality services 
• work in a dynamic environment of world's leading company in biometric SW solution

Candidate requirements

• Unix/Linux administration skills and Windows administration skills
• advanced spoken and written command of English and Arabic language 
• knowledge of the following domains is an advantage: IP networking & troubleshooting, database administration, scripting, messaging services, log management systems (Elastic Search, Kibana...)
• knowledge of some of the automation deployment tools is an advantage (e.g., Ansible)
• knowledge of some of the SCM tools is an advantage (e.g., Gitlab)
• responsibility, orientation on detail and open to work in a highly international environment 
• willingness to participate in 24/7 on call support rotations
