Experienced Java/Kotlin Developer (ABIS Product)

Responsibilities

• Development of biometric product that is deployed around the world (EMEA, APAC, LATAM, NA)
• Programming in Java and Kotlin
• Development and integration of our ABIS services
• Integration with biometric libraries of our own making
• Independent responsibility for the quality of the solution
• Collaboration with other Research and Development team

Candidate requirements

• We are looking for a person who is technologically capable, able to express own opinion and share his / her knowledge with others
• Advanced knowledge of Java programming language and platform (experience with Kotlin is a plus)
• Experience with Spring Boot
• Experience with distributed systems (multithreading, parallelization, microservices concept)
• Experience with integration (REST, MQ, GraphQL, gRPC)
• Knowledge of SQL, experience with RDBMS (Oracle / PostgreSQL / SQL server)
• Experience with the development process: Git, code review, CI, CD, Jenkins / GitHub CI, Docker, Maven / Gradle
• Experience with Linux OS development and administration is a plus
• Friendly approach and willingness to help others, we are looking for a team person
• Active knowledge of the English language
