JAVA/Kotlin Software Engineer Senior (Platform)

About the Platform Team:

Our Platform team designs and maintains foundational services and libraries for common use cases such as authentication, authorization, or database access. We look for innovation and experimentation, providing space to explore new frameworks and tools to keep our tech stack modern and competitive.

Responsibilities:

• Programming in Java and Kotlin
• Development and integration of microservices for modern, scalable architectures
• API design, implementation, and integration (REST / GraphQL / gRPC)
• Design, implementation and integration of distributed systems
• Improving developer experience by designing the services and libraries that form the backbone of our software development lifecycle
• Collaborating with other teams to integrate platform components and services

Candidate requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Java programming language and platform to develop sophisticated and reliable applications
• Understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases
• Familiarity with development processes, including Git, code reviews, Docker, and build tools like Maven or Gradle
• Knowledge of distributed systems, including multithreading, parallelization, and microservices concepts
• Nice to have is experience with Kotlin and Spring Boot 
• Active knowledge of the English language
• Be proactive with independent mindset, ability to share knowledge with the team
