Job Description

We’re seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to lead our financial strategy, ensure effective financial control, and oversee comprehensive accounting operations, reporting directly to the COO. This role will be pivotal in aligning our financial practices with company objectives, providing executive leadership with data-driven insights, and enabling financial agility and resilience in a fast-evolving market. 

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in both finance and accounting within the technology sector, with a proven track record in driving strategic decisions. They will adopt a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset to enhance profitability, optimize cash flow, and support the company’s growth trajectory.

Responsibilities

The Finance Manager will hold end-to-end responsibility for financial strategy, control, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting oversight, guiding the company toward sustainable growth. As a critical member of the leadership team, this role will collaborate closely with executives to deliver strategic advisory and financial analysis that shape key business initiatives.

Team Leadership

• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering continuous learning and professional development.

Strategic Planning & Financial Advisory

• Partner with executives to drive strategic financial planning, delivering insights and analysis to support business initiatives.
• Provide financial advisory to senior leaders, aligning financial goals with long-term growth plans.

Financial Planning & Control

• Lead budgeting and forecasting, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Conduct variance analysis and develop financial models for business agility and informed decision-making.

Accounting & Compliance

• Oversee accounting processes and financial close cycles, maintaining compliance and reporting accuracy.
• Ensure adherence to local and international accounting standards, coordinating with auditors as needed.

Risk Management & Financial Health

• Manage cash flow, tax planning, and financial reporting to ensure fiscal stability.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth, while managing relationships with financial institutions.

Candidate requirements

• Proven success in leading and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Proven track of record in finance and accounting, ideally within the software or technology sector.
• Strong experience in financial controlling, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting oversight.
• Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and forecasting.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Exceptional analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
