DevOps Engineer

We are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer who will actively participate in the creation and improvement of our DevOps concepts. Your work will contribute to making the life of development and delivery teams easier and ensure all the deployments are automated, up to date and secure. 

Responsibilities 

• Design and implement new automated deployments using GitLab CI and Ansible, and optimize existing ones. 

• Strong collaboration on migrating existing solution into Kubernetes and actively participate in deployment design

• Maintain and improve monitoring of environments (Alloy/Agent, Grafana, Loki, Mimir, Tempo) 

• Communicate and closely cooperate with our development and delivery teams 

• Consult and create new concepts which might help developers automate/simplify processes 

• Identify and improve security concepts on infrastructural level 

• Keep up with technological trends and introduce new tools and technologies. 

Candidate requirements

• Strong agile mindset and first-hand experiences within DevOps
• Hands-on experience with public cloud providers (e.g. AWS, GCP or Azure), 
• Experience with DevOps pipelines (e.g. GitLab CI, Jenkins)
• Working knowledge of any Workload Orchestration tool (e.g. Kubernetes, Nomad)
• Familiarity with Service mesh principle (e.g. Consul + Envoy, Istio)
• Ideally, knowledge with relevant architectures, principles, technologies, and operations such as: Cloud-native architectures, hybrid systems, microservice architecture 
• Knowledge of Docker Containers (creation and usage)
• Experience with Environment and Application Monitoring (e.g.OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Jaeger, Grafana)
• Knowledge of common security concepts and technical procedures to implement them
