• Propose architecture and define technical solutions to mid size features in our solution

• Define architecture and lead implementation of complex requirements - set of multiple stories

Candidate requirements

About You:

You are a software engineer with the skills and proven ability to build and deploy production-ready software at scale. You enjoy being part of a team, collaborating to accelerate learning and teaching.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in TypeScript, with a strong foundation in Node.js and React
• Proven experience building and consuming GraphQL APIs (familiarity with Apollo Server and client-side GraphQL libraries is a plus).
• Experience with API documentation tools like Swagger.
• Experience with messaging systems, such as Kafka and RabbitMQ
• Knowledge of distributed systems, parallelization, scaling and microservices concepts
• Understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, interacting with them via an ORM like Prisma)
• Experience with frontend build tooling (eg. Webpack, Vite) and styling solutions (e.g., Styled Components or similar CSS-in-JS libraries).
• Experience with automated testing (Jest, Cypress)
• Familiarity with development processes, including Git, code reviews, Docker, monorepo management, CI/CD pipelines and build tools
• Familiarity with containerization and kubernetes
• Be proactive with independent mindset, ability to share knowledge with the team
